What do we believe?

New Life Community Church's central focus is the glorification of Almighty God through worship, discipleship, service, and evangelism.

We are committed to teaching the truth of scripture through sound biblical doctrine and exposition. The following is a summary of our core beliefs:

We believe that the Bible is God's written revelation to man and is absolutely infallible, inerrant, timeless, and is the final authority in all matters of life. It stands supreme as the Universal Arbitrator of right and wrong.

We believe in ONE Triune, eternal, Living God (i.e. existing in 3 persons equally deserving of worship and obedience).

  • God (The Father): 1st person of Trinity and absolute, sovereign, and omnipotent Ruler of the universe.
  • God (The Son): 2nd person of the Trinity and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The God- Man (through virgin born incarnation).
  • God (The Holy Spirit): 3rd person of the Trinity. He is the divine Comforter, Agent of regeneration, indweling presence in believers, and administrator of spiritual gifts to the church.

We believe that man was created in the image of God to glorify Him eternally. However, because of Adam's sin of disobedience all mankind incurred the penalty of eternal spiritual and physical death and became subject to God's wrath and judgement.  All men are sinners by nature, by choice, and by divine declaration (Psalms 14:1-3; Jeremiah 17:9; Romans 3:9-18, 23; 5:10-12).

We believe that God has provided salvation by His grace alone through Jesus Christ and NOT on the basis of our merit or work (Ephesians 2:8-10).

We believe that all believers in Christ (i.e. Christians saved by God's grace) are called to live lives separated from sin (Romans 12:1-2). This is possible by the power of the indweling Holy Spirit (that resides in the believer at the moment of salvation and for all eternity).
