Although life’s circumstances may cause us to feel detached or introverted, we feel most at peace when we connect with others. NLCC is committed to connect with church and community members by applying our four core values of worship, discipleship, service, and evangelism
We Worship.
Worship involves “expressions of God’s true worth through song, oration, and fellowship.”
True worship can be individual or corporate but must always be grounded in our proper attitude about God’s holiness and truth (John 4:24).
We Disciple.
Discipleship is based on “intentional and personal relationships that produce spiritual growth and maturity in God.”
True discipleship occurs when we engage, teach, listen, and behave in ways that reflect our continuous sanctification that empowers our daily Christian living (Ephesians 4:14-16).
We Serve.
Service occurs among “church and community ministries that demonstrate love for God and man.”
True service compels us to acknowledge and provide solutions for those in need (1 John 4:19-21).
We Evangelize.
Evangelism consists of “genuine love and obedience to God that move us to passionately seek and disciple the lost.”
True evangelism is neither a recreational activity or burden: it’s a powerful declaration about salvation (Psalm 105:1).
