ATTRIBUTES OF CHURCH MEMBERS*
- Church members are functional because they belong to the body of Christ and give, serve, minister, evangelize, study, and bless others (see Church section of Statement of Faith).
- Church members are unified because they promote the Gospel and model Christian behavior (despite their imperfections) and do not promote gossip or dissension (see Church and Regeneration sections of Statement of Faith).
- Church members are selfless because they serve and treat others like Christ, setting aside personal preferences, legalism, and partiality which conflicts with holy living (Church section of Statement of Faith).
- Church members are prayerful because they communicate with God to intercede for the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of family, friends, church, community, and themselves (Church section of Statement of Faith).
- Church members are leader-oriented because they are intentional and persistent in modeling Christian living that fosters a healthy home and church (Church section of Statement of Faith).
- Church members are connected because they recognize, appreciate, and exemplify behavior that cherishes an organization and organism that is bigger than one person or member (Church section of Statement of Faith).
